Value Added Tax
Zippisat deals globally and has many international customers. All prices quoted on this internationally accessible website exclude VAT, for comparison purposes by foreign buyers or VAT registered entities in South Africa.
Quotes and tax invoices to South African customers, or when delivery is in South African, will automatically have VAT (currently 15%) added to the prices.
Exported products will have a zero percent VAT rate. Official export documentation is required by SARS for all zero rated VAT invoices, when products are exported outside of South Africa.
VAT might be refundable to South Africa Revenue Services (SARS) VAT registered entities in South Africa, or to foreigners with a valid tax invoice (and product) when leaving South Africa e.g. at customs / international airports. Please consult with SARS, accountants or tax advisers regarding your spesific circumstances and latest tax laws.
Prices (quotes and tax invoices) including VAT will be provided to South African enties and when deliveries are in South Africa.
